We were co-founded by Alex Mashinsky, an internationally recognized innovator in the telecom services industry, the recipient of 17 domestic and international patents relating to communications infrastructure and signaling, and the founder of Arbinet-thexchange, the full-service trading solution for buyers and sellers of telephony bandwidth, which has raised over $110 million in private equity financing to date. We are currently in the process of validating a backlog of numerous potential IP opportunities identified by Mr. Mashinsky from his unique perch at the crossroads of the international carrier, and telco switch and Internet router OEM communities.
